I really am tired of repeating the obvious ... what every honest human knows perfectly well.

Namely ... the concept "authority" is an inherently fictional concept.

And so, no human has authority over any other human.

And so, no human can have authority over any other human.

Every human who claims "authority" over any other human is a PREDATOR.

As such, every human has more than sufficient justification to exterminate any predator, especially those who have made clear they intend to harm one or more honest, ethical, benevolent human producers.

Good grief ... humans are dumber than rocks.

The lesson of the Kobayashi Maru is not learning to cope with certain failure.

The lesson is to understand the TRUE nature of the challenge, and not to apply the wrong set of rules.

When you look at the problem as one of rescuing an unrescuable ship, using the rules of navigation, weapons, communication, etc., you can't win.

A wise man sees rescuing the ship is not the challenge. The challenge is to beat a simulation, and that invokes an entirely different set of rules and possibilities, as ably demonstrated in Trek lore when Kirk attacked the problem's source, the simulation itself.

The same applies here. The challenge is not one of math. It's actually a problem with who's holding the calculator.
