The trans-European (inc.UK) choice(s) + one other:-
1) Does one starve and be cold in the UK? (Other utilities out of our control, but most water supplies involve electric pumps, don't they?). Obscene alcohol prices.
Or
2) Does one dehydrate and (possibly fry) in Iberia? (Reservoirs now beyond recovery level. Three times normal winter rainfall required.(we rely on a river, but that is down to a (shared) trickle, and 35,000 litres of stored reserves). Cheap alcohol. Peace.
Or quit Europe:-
3) Mexico. Chapala. Cheap living. Know a place we can stay. Good people. Great usa Legion at end of street. Giant lake.
Noise. Can we get flights? Can we be bothered with 'survival' ..... Answer, No we can't. See 1&2. Don't like 1....
